This is dedicated to those who have expressed their concern for not “getting a feather yet”. After seeing the number of feathers posted on my social media, noticed the messages received in their timing and position some are wondering “so where is mine”? Allow me to expand on the symbolism of feathers and why they lay in the path of some.
First can I say I am thrilled so many of you are using sacred signs and messages to include your manifesto of ‘Your body, Your rules’. We are surrounded by so many “logical” and “practical” channels to seek guidance like coaching, PT, accountants, business advisers and mentors that we are not to forget the primary source of knowledge and intelligence available within the connection to our spirit. The reason so many of you have built a relationship with feathers and their messages is because you have discovered a way to connect to your spirit, your guardians or ancestors for counsel. This makes my heart sing.
As you know I teach the insights of the Greater Mind as being a united intelligence of our body, mind and spirit. The use of symbolic communication like the one in feathers is a wonderful way to flex that muscle of using and reading intuitive messages. The more we flex this muscle the stronger that channel becomes. Within time, this allows us to become proficient in the decision making process without the interruption of deliberation or fear.
However some of you have felt bewildered to why you are not receiving sacred messages. So here are some additional things to consider to ease your concern.
1. The sacred messages in feathers are placed IN FRONT of us for a reason. They encourage or validate decisions we have already made, already acted on or sense we want to make. They confirm that gut feeling to move forward in the direction of the step you have already made. The color of the feather is the message your spirit or guardians would like you to know about moving forward. So if you are not making any moves, asking any questions or sensing any decisions need to be made then this could explain the absence of any sacred signs.
2. Your spirit is using other sacred signs that are unique to you. Just because one person has received their confirmation in the form of a feather, you may be surrounded by signs that are attuned to you. Clients have shared many stories about their own signs within a particular animal (totem), a flower, smell of a certain scent or a word that continues to appear in different forms throughout the day. This is specific to you and your spirit. So don’t forget to keep an eye out for those unique little signs that only you and your spirit know about.
3. You want a feather to answer “what should I do?” question. For this sort of guidance you need to use tools that can support you to make a decision not validate one. As I said above there a many services available to you for guidance however I love how so many of you are prioritising your intuitive voice first then marrying it with practical processes. A great way to build that skill is the use of Oracle cards.
